- Non-drowsy antihistamines (cetirizine, loratadine, fexofenadine) — first-line for sneezing, itching and runny nose.
- Steroid nasal sprays (e.g. mometasone, fluticasone) — the most effective for nasal symptoms, but start 1–2 weeks early as they build up.
- Antihistamine eye drops for itchy, watering eyes.
